My 17 year old son and about 8 friends need a place to stay for senior week. I would like them to stay ocean side, near or on the boardwalk. Any suggestions????
Senior week 2008Do you really want them to stay on the boardwalk??? That is party central. I%26#39;d suggest staying up further and away from trouble.
I am 32 so it%26#39;s been a while, but when we went we had to get a parent (not mine, they refused) to actually rent the place because we were all under 18.
Senior week 2008assuming you mean 2009, the location really depends on budgets and whether someone is willing to co-sign the rental agreement.
Senior weekers can be found all over OC, but the further you head downtown, the higher the concentration. I would agree with the other poster in recommending NOT staying on the boards. There are plenty of motels on the ocean side. They may need to get 2 rooms. It is probably worth a drive down to check out a few places. I stayed at the Sea Cove on 28th street. It was a place to sleep and shower, and i believe every room was rented to Senior weekers from various high schools.
hope this helps.
An adult must take the responsibility and sign for anyone under 18.
I dont have any specific locations for you but I found a list that may help: http://www.ocseniorweek.com/frame_places.html , it lists locations and tele numbers of hotels that look to be Senior Week friendly.
FYI-28th st bayside is also a huge party area.

Is%26#39;t that the idea of ';Senior Week';?
Whatever you do, don%26#39;t allow them to get a place from the beachcomber. This place advertises all over the internet how senior week friendly it is, and it is extremely false. Now I know it is illegal for people that age to have alcohol, but lets face it most are going to. On that note, workers from the hotel walk through their parking lot while people are unloading and look into cars, if they see any alcohol they kick you out and don%26#39;t give any refund. They look for any way possible to kick people out so they could possibly re rent the room without giving a refund. Be sure you do research on any play that you are looking in to. Many of these places take advantage of senior weekers and will kick them out without explanation with no refund. I saw this happen many times this past summer.
I have been in Ocean City for many a Senior Week and I can truthfuly say that 99.9% of people who get evicted are doing something to warrent it.
The previous poster is either a kid who got caught with alcohol or a parent whose kid could never do any wrong.(Yeah right !)
I%26#39;v been there under age and over the age. Its all about being smart and don%26#39;t do stupid things. I did my share of party in OC while under 21 (1987-90) boy thats long ago, but what I%26#39;m trying to say is be smart. Let the other goofballs go out and cause problems and go to jail for a night.
Let me say I%26#39;m not saying it okay to drink underage, but lets be real, it will happen just do the right thing and act human and things will be fine.
