The Wonderful Seahawk and restaurants

First - I am a travel agent from New Jersey. I have traveled all over the world and stayed at mostly 4-5 star resorts as an adult. Why did i try this motel? We were going away again 4 weeks later and i was trying to save money. I saw all of the 4-5 star ratings for what i thought was going to be a hole in the wall - but to my surprise, all i can say is WOW ! the week to go to Ocean City - has to be the last weekend in August. You can move around and not wait 3 hours for dinner. I only spent 3 nights there and wish it had been more! The staff was so kind and helpful. Linda - you still need to join our canasta league!

Beds .... i cannot sleep in most hotel beds. Many times after 1 night - i%26#39;m purchasing an aerobed to sleep on. Both my husband and I feel the same. These beds were the most comfortable beds we%26#39;d ever slept on. The place was so clean you could eat off of the floors. Don%26#39;t get me wrong - this is not a high end anything -it%26#39;s just perfect. When i was a kid, we stayed in a motel like this in Florida.

I can%26#39;t thank you all enough - and look forward to coming back next year!

Dumsers across the street makes fried chicken to write home about. Southerners have nothing on them!

The chicken just wasn%26#39;t one bit greasy at all. Our waitress was awesome, as well.

This area of Ocean City is wonderful because it provides quiet yet everything you need. I called Coastal Highway - repeat highway. Every few blocks you go and see the same ';candy'; store, ';kite'; store and Dumsers after Dumsers. You don%26#39;t need to stay on the southern part of the island with kids. you can take them there and when you%26#39;ve had enough ';amusements'; and boardwalk -you can take them home to a quiet place where the beaches are clean and relaxing.

I searched and searched for a place to stay - and being a travel agent for 30 years, i normally pick high cost places - thinking i%26#39;ll enjoy it better. Huge lesson learned here. If i could - i%26#39;d give you my telephone number to prove it to you, but i%26#39;m sure they wouldn%26#39;t allow it. i hope you enjoy your stay.

Hi, Great review. We are from New Jersey also and have been staying at the SeaHawk every year for I can%26#39;t even tell you how long. We wouldn%26#39;t even think of staying anywhere else. Pam and Linda in the office are amazing. The rooms are definately clean, beds are comfortable, and the location as you mentioned is perfect. We are already counting the days until our vacation next year--SeaHawk here we come!!

Just out of curiosity, why do you have only a single review for this hotel if you are an agent and worldwide traveler.
