Washington DC via Perryville or Aberdeen

My family is planning a Washington DC trip, and we%26#39;ll be heading down there from Delaware on Wednesday early afternoon. We typically drive down to Greenbelt and ride the Metro in, but I am concerned about I-95 being a parking lot. We%26#39;re thinking about taking the MARC from Perryville or Aberdeen. Is anyone familiar with parking options at either train station? Being the Wednesday before a holiday I%26#39;m thinking we won%26#39;t have a big problem finding a parking spot but would love those %26#39;in the know%26#39; to weigh in.

TIA.

There are 76 (free) parking spaces at Perryville. And plenty of street parking nearby (although I forget what, if any, restrictions are in place).

I can%26#39;t speak for the situation in Aberdeen, but this blog suggests that there are issues.

Thank you. I suppose I should specify that we%26#39;ll be leaving the car a couple days. Perryville is closer for us, so that%26#39;s the preferred station so long as the neighborhood isn%26#39;t too seedy.
