Knowing absolutely zero about his interests, would something like this be up his alley?

Check out the City Paper%26#39;s ';Best of Baltimore'; link.

You should be able to find something of interest.
The best place to be is in Fells Point. For good music and good people try The Cat%26#39;s Eye Pub on Thames Street. You can check out their web page to find out who might be playing. Also in Fell%26#39;s Point you can find alot of great places to eat. Park you car and you can walk to just about everything.
A few suggestions:
American Visionary Art Museum - great museum full of wonderful, if not odd, art. Plus, it%26#39;s near the Inner Harbor and Federal Hill.

Walk the waterfront if the weather is nice - lots of great places to eat and things to do along the way.

If you wind up in Canton, eat at Jack%26#39;s Bistro - lots of creative things to eat. Harbor East area - go to Pazo - great menu, maybe the best dining room in B-more
You can never go wrong with the ESPN zone.
well, it WOULD help a great deal to know his interests!
the aquarium is great. i%26#39;d second the suggestion of geppi%26#39;s museum (even though i%26#39;ve yet to go there, i really want to!) %26amp; that could even be combined with a trip to the ';sports legends'; museum, %26amp; a look at the ballpark. historic places to eat nearby could be burke%26#39;s cafe or the lexington market.
if art is an interest at all, the baltimore museum of art is pretty wonderful %26amp; you can see ';the woodlawn vase';, which is the pre-civil war trophy that is presented to the winner of the Preakness Stakes every year...the most valuable trophy in all of sports.
fells point is very nice, too...depends what he likes.
Where did he move exactly? Happy to give you some tips, you looking for nightlife/dining or more daytime activities?
