My family of 2 adults and 2 young boys who like waterfront areas and walking around to sites, restaurants, etc. would like to visit Baltimore for one short night (stop on the way home from WDC). Do I remember that the Fells Point area was nice? Any hotel recommendations? Prefer to spend $200 max. Doesn%26#39;t need to be 5 star but would like 3 star. Area is more important.
Hotel in Fells Point areaIf it%26#39;s available, I definitely recommend Henderson%26#39;s Wharf...

I would also check out the Admiral Fell Inn...

There is also a Courtyard Marriott, Homewood Suites, Hilton Garden Inn, and the Marriott Waterfront, all in nearby Harbor East (very short walk).
Hotel in Fells Point areaCelie%26#39;s Waterfront B%26amp;B is great.

$200 doesn%26#39;t get you far for Baltimore hotels these days. You can check the Tremont Grand and Brookshire Suites. They sometimes have deals, but they are not in Fells Point. It%26#39;s cheaper up in the Hunt Valley area, and you can Light Rail to downtown, but I%26#39;m not sure you have the time to do that.
jackie, this is a great site telling you all that will be within walking distance if you are staying at hilton garden inn. the new fells point area is called ';harbor east'; now

Henderson%26#39;s Wharf Hotel--excellent, charming, pristine, extensive, yummy Continental breakfast, very nice staff!
We found Admiral Fell less than clean.
Your children may enjoy the Inner Harbor East hotels more. They are an easy walk from the Aquarium, Science Center and Children%26#39;s Museum.
If you do stay in Fells Point, Henderson%26#39;s Wharf Hotel, there is a water taxi from FP to the Inner Harbor--kinda novel for the kids.
