New Year's Eve in Baltimore

Hi - we%26#39;re looking at local places to spend our New Year%26#39;s Eve (my friends and I hail from Alexandria, VA). We%26#39;re 20+ year olds but not really into bar hopping or clubs. I read about the main event (free) around the Inner Harbor Amphitheater, can anyone tell me how that is? I would appreciate any other suggestions. Thanks.

There%26#39;s an event called The Charm City Charity Ball in Inner Harbor. They have a website about the event. It%26#39;s a New Year%26#39;s Eve even and tickets are $150 a person but includes everything. I think there%26#39;s a few other hotels that do events like that one.
