We enjoyed our long weekend in Baltimore, which was much warmer than Boston (low 60%26#39;s in MA, upper 70%26#39;s in MD). Friday evening took a harbor cruise on the Spirit of Baltimore, and would recommend this to others. Saturday was Fells Point day (met a friend from MD who hadn%26#39;t been to that neighborhood in a while), with a nice lunch at Shuckers, gelato, and wandering around the shops. Also toured the USS Consellation- very interesting! Toured Fort McHenry, a must-see. Sunday after church toured ';Mount Vernon'; neighborhood, including the excellent Walters Art Museum. I disagree with the ';walking tour map'; description of ';Antique Row'; on Howard Street, at least on a Sunday afternoon it%26#39;s not worth the detour unless you are a die-hard antiquer, and then only 1 store was open. However, the used book store on Read Street was too cute, with yummy baked goods and cafe tables. Walked back along N. Charles street w/ stores, coffee shops, etc. Took a look at the Sports Legends Museum, sure to be a hit with tourists of all ages. Took a Duck Tour Monday, enjoyable and funny information, and had a great crab/shrimp wrap at the Phillip%26#39;s Express in the shopping area near the visitor%26#39;s center. The Aquarium was nice (detailed info in ';things to do'; tab), and the Lightship Chesapeake, Coast Guard Ship Taney, and Lighthouse were also interesting. All in all, the people I met were friendly, the food was great, and the sights were educational and fun.
