Inner Harbor to Terps Football Stadium ?

Hi, Does anyone know an easy way to get from the Inner harbor to the Game on Nov. 29 NCSU vs Maryland? Possibly a shuttle, bus, train. We won%26#39;t have a car. Thanks

IS there any way you can get a car? Otherwise the options are pretty ';ugly'; rather than ';easy';.

You would have to take a taxi or light rail from downtown Baltimore out the BWI airport. From there, you can catch the B30 Metro bus to the Greenbelt station of Metro. (Metro is the Washington area%26#39;s subway/bus system). Once there, you get on a train and ride 4 stops to the West Hyattsville station. From there, you get on an F6 bus and ride to the edge of the UM campus, and then walk to the stadium.

Another route would be taking Amtrak from Baltimore%26#39;s Penn Station to the New Carrollton Amtrak station and picking up the F6 bus there for a fairly lengthy bus trip to the UM campus.

wmata.com for bus and train schedules.

Or take the Metro to UM from New Carrollton.

True, but that involves taking Metro all the way into DC and transferring to the Green line, then still having to get on a bus at West Hyattsville. 50 minutes on Metro from New Carrollton.

';Mary';, any way you do this trip is going to take several hours via public transportation.

There is a Marc train that runs from Camden Yards to College Park but it only runs on weekdays. The only other option is to take the light rail to BWI and from there catch the bus that takes your to Greenbelt and then the metro one stop to College Park. It takes ~1h15minutes. The bus from BWI is a nice bus with comfy seats. Just bring something to read and really the trip is not that bad.

Or try craigslist to see if you can hitch a ride down with someone.

';If'; all the connections involved were exactly coordinated it might take 1 hour 15 minutes, but that%26#39;s probably a stretch.

How do you get from the College Park metro stop to the stadium? Despite the name, the ';College park - UMD'; station is some distance from the campus.
