DCA to Bethesda North Marriott

Can I take the Metro Rail to the white Flint station and walk to the Bethesda North Marriott. Does any one know if this is an easy to do trip and comfortable to do with luggage?

I will be traveling with my Mom whom I want to take to Ruth Chris,and the Library of Congress. Are these easy to do with out renting a car?

Is there any transportation to NIST in Gathersburg?

DCA to Bethesda North Marriott

Yes--White Flint Station is pretty much across the street from the Marriott (albeit a very long block to the lobby). Your comfort level will largely depend on day of week/time of day, i.e. how crowded the trains are.

Ruth%26#39;s Chris (Bethesda) is easily done on the Metro.

NIST--There%26#39;s a connecting bus if you take the Metro two stops to Rockville, but if time is important to you, just hop into a cab. Always plenty of them outside of the Marriott.
