Which do you like ? Bayside or Ocean

I am just curious as to hear what side of OC people like to stay when vacationing. Both have good pros. The only con I see is from bayside is trying to cross Coastal hwy to get to the beach..problem if you have kids. I like both, I switch off and stay in either one. If you have a boat you can drop your boat in from bayside if you have dockage. You can fish from bayside too. I like looking out at the ocean at all times and the convenience of not walking far to the beach from ocean side. I talk to some people that are adamant about either. How about you ?

I love bayside.

The main reason is in the summer I just hide back here,sit on my deck,and drink Captain Morgan waiting for the off season. LOL

hi I like Ocean Side because of Coastal highway. Whenever I look at the web cam of Coastal the highway is dead but when I go it is busy very busy even to cross it get to a eatery or an amusement is tough or a store. At night it is crazy. I guess I like my Ocean side. Nice post.

That%26#39;s a toss up for me. I%26#39;ve stayed bayside before and really enjoyed it. Sitting on your own deck watching the sunset at night is great and relaxing.

But I really really like ocean front. I can spend hours watching the waves and the beauty%26#39;s walk by.

Plus you can beat a nice sunrise.

Personally, it is no contest, ocean side by a landslide. I just enjoy the convenience of being close to the condo. Restroom, air conditions, food, and beverage ... all steps away are key. Not to mention not having to lug all the beach stuff across Coastal Highway (especially at the end of a long hot day).

Some bayside units are okay, but I%26#39;d take the convenience of oceanside any time.

My vote is for Oceanside !

Either side gives you a great view, depends on taste. However, if you are not near the boardwalk being on the ocean side has its advantages when it comes to bathroom use, breaks from the beach, cocktails. If you have kids it is even a bigger drag having to go back to your room for an assortment of needs. For that reason I always have opted for the ocean side for sheer convenience.
