best hotel in Baltimore Inner Harbor?

Our hosts are agreeable to putting us up at the hotel of our choice. (one-night stay) I know that ';best'; means different things to different people. For us the highest priority of all is quiet. Is it possible to have accommodations in that area that are very quiet, e.g. a hotel that has good soundproofing, thick walls between rooms, etc? A great view would be very nice, but even more important would be quality and size of the room and bathroom. Good linens and very comfortable beds are a must. We tend to like newer hotels better than ';antique'; ones. (mainly because of the usually-better bathrooms and usually-larger room size)

Thanks in advance for suggestions. (price doesn%26#39;t matter-- we hope!)

I can also recommend the Waterfront Marriott. Very quiet, extemely comfortable beds, nice view from the room%26#39;s too.

The Marriott in Baltimore was nice and walking distance to everything in the Inner Harbor.

Thanks for replies.

Many years ago, we stayed at Harbor Court. I remember thinking that the public areas were quite stunning (loved the great amounts of very handsome wood), but didn%26#39;t especially love the rooms. My memory is that they were on the small size and also (most importantly) that we heard outside noise. (We faced the harbor, but across a busy street.) I%26#39;m looking into the Marriott and reading good reviews. Thanks again.

Be aware that there are two Marriott hotels in the downtown area. Marriott Inner Harbor and Marriott Waterfront.
