Public Transportation from/to Philadelphia

My son has tickets to the Navy/Notre Dame football game on Nov. 15 - his brother is a graduate of USN. He%26#39;s attending a college outside Philadelphia and needs to take public transportation to and from the game. Any suggestions on how he can do this? We%26#39;re guessing he has to take Amtrak from Philadelphia to Penn Station (expensive!) and then what?

Thank you so much for any help!

If this game is being played in Annapolis, you might try that forum. There are busses that depart from Baltimore; see the below link.

The game will be held at the Ravens Stadium in Baltimore.

From Penn Station he can take the light rail to the stadium, Camden Yards stop. If the light rail schedule doesn%26#39;t fit with the train schedule or the game start time then a taxi of course is another option.

Given your name Irishfan I would like to especially thank you for your helpful suggestion! I must admit we were disappointed at the cost of Amtrak but there seems to be no other way to get from Philadelphia to Baltimore other than Greyhound and their schedule won%26#39;t get him to the game on time.

Here%26#39;s hoping for a repeat of last year%26#39;s win! Go Navy!

LOL - Don%26#39;t make any assumptions about my screen name, has nothing to do with ND football but rather being a ';fan'; of Ireland, sorry. :)

Are there any other bus services from Philadelphia that you can look into? Bolt (owned by Greyhound I think) or Megabus or any of the others that seem to have sprung up lately? Might be worth looking into.
