Ocean City In Febuary

I was thinking of going down to Ocean City in Febuary for a few nights. Just looking to have some fun at some bars and good restaurants... I%26#39;m assuming the board walk is mostly closed. But maybe not? Does anyone know if there is anything to do bar/restaurant wise in the winter, or is everything mostly closed up?

Thank you!

Most stuff is still open, but a lot of places have cutback hours like weekends only or Thursday through Monday type thing. Boardwalk is mostly closed but on weekends some of the regular stuff is open, and a few shops. Plenty to do if you want to eat and drink.

Most bars/taverns are open.

Thanks so much for your thoughts!

Brrrrr.

If your time is flexible you may want to think about St Pats day weekend. There are lots of things going on and hotel prices are pretty cheap and you can get good deals.

BJ%26#39;s on the Water is open and so is Bull on the Beach, on 94th St. Bull on the Beach is similar to ';Cheers';. BJ%26#39;s has a restaurant overlooking the bay and had live entertainment when we were there in November on a Saturday night, the weekend before Thanksgiving. Had a good time at both places.

Check out Smitty McGee%26#39;s in Fenwick (Ireland) Island. Nice bar, good bartenders, fair prices, killer wings (literally). Not your average bar food. They sometimes have live music Thurs and Fridays. Too crowded on St. Patty%26#39;s Day though.

We were down in OC last weekend and went to Liquid Assets. It was packed (more crowded than I have seen it during the summer). We had a 30 minute wait for a table but it was well worth it ... plus the bar was lively and fun. The food there is awesome!

PS ... It saids something about the quality of the food if you are packed in the middle of January during a recession. Everywhere else we went was pretty slow.

I%26#39;m heading up OC this weekend so will have to give Liquid Assets a try. Thanks for that tip.
