Sea Watch in September

Hello,

I%26#39;m staying with family at the Sea Watch in mid-September.

I have a couple of questions for anyone who might have stayed there during this time.

First, are the pools open then? We stayed at the Plaza this year and both pools were open in September. I%26#39;m hoping that%26#39;s the case with the Sea Watch. Even though we didn%26#39;t use the pools at the Plaza, the indoor pool would have been a nice option if we had bad weather.

Secondly, how is the parking situation in September. At the Plaza, there were tons of extra spaces and they allowed us to pay for extra spots. I%26#39;m hoping we%26#39;ll be able to do that at the Sea Watch.

Anyone else have any tips for this building? This is the first time we%26#39;ve stayed here.

The SeaWatch on 115th St? If so, it is a large condo property with a parking garage only. Gold Coast Mall is directly across the street where you could park should you not be able to in the garage.

The pools around here vary as to when they close some wait until after Sunfest and some close right after Labor Day.

See if you can do an internet search and find a business/office number for them and ask about the pool and parking. Most high rise condos here have office staff during the day.

Thanks...

We tried contacting the building office before we booked, but didn%26#39;t have any luck. I%26#39;ll try again, but I was hoping someone on here would have an answer for me. :-)

At the Plaza this year, all they had was a 2-level garage (ground and top level) and it was empty for the week. They were happy to take our money for extra parking passes and I%26#39;m hoping the Sea Watch will want extra money as well!

You should have no trouble parking in September the exception may be Sun Fest weekend.

Indoor pools usually stay open so this one should as well. I would call the office to confirm.

Enjoy your trip!

What dates in September? It%26#39;s not related to your question, but please be aware Delmarva Bike Week occurs September 17-20 in 2009 (I think). Lots of motorcycles and lots of noise!

We are always there Bike Week. It doesn%26#39;t bother us. Since we stay so far up, we just hear bike noise and not partying noise.

Thanks for the warning, though. I know it does bother a lot of people. The only downside for us is that some of the more popular bar/restaurants are packed while they are there. We%26#39;ll just hit those spots early in the week.

I%26#39;d much rather deal with the bikers than with the sheer number of peoople that are there in July/August.

Sea watch indoor pool is open thru September. Actually, thru october. I believe the outdoor pool close in Sept.Parking will not be a problem. I believe you will have to pay the fee, but even in july and august they have extra spaces usually available. In October they usually stop charging.Enjoy your vist, its a great building. We always go a little off season, beach is still great, and much less crowded.

Sea Watch is the largest oceanfront condominium complex in Ocean City. There should be plenty of parking in September and the indoor pool should be open unless there is a problem.

As a side note, Sea Watch is %26#39;V%26#39; shaped in design with the point of the %26#39;V%26#39; closest to the ocean. From the point, units ending in 1 %26amp; 11 (ie 401/411) are closest to the Ocean. Units 10/20 (410/420) are at the back toward Coastal Hwy. Most units are 2 B/R + Den units (880 sf).
