OC in April

We plan to vacation for a few days in OC with our 2 kids (age 8 and 5) during their Easter vacation. Is this a good time to go? Are the attractions (boardwalk, restaurants, etc) all open during this time of year? And, is the weather nice for relaxing on the beach? Thanks for any advice!

OC in April

The weather that time of year can be cold.......or warmish. Definitely not hot. And you don%26#39;t want to go into the water at all. But some things are open for Easter weekend....a lot of the little stores on the boards. But I%26#39;m pretty sure that there are no rides up and running yet. There are events going on and you can check on what%26#39;s happening here.

OC in April

Easter time is a great time to go. Went a few years back and had a wonderful time. Check the Convention center becuae they had a Easter day with crafts, art projects for kids and food for all ages.

The rides are not open/running but shops, food stands and some arcades are open.

The weather can be a hit or miss though, could be great one week but cold the next.

I would recommend getting a place with an indoor pool.
