Bwi to Baltinore Hilton Inner Harbor

My family and I are flying into BWI and staying at the Baltimore Hilton inner harbor, I believe on West Pratt Street. We are looking for the best and most affordable way to get from BWI to the hotel. We will have luggage and a (5) year old! Thanks for any solid advice.

';Best'; and ';most affordable'; rarely go together...cheapest way is the light rail from the airport to downtown, but with luggage and a 5 year-old you may find it easier to just hop in a cab.

This question gets asked all the time, you can do a search for the numerous discussions or check the airport web site for ground transportation options.

true you have point, the two rarely go together. I checked with the airport shuttle.thx. My wife and I were also thinking about renting a car and driving from Baltimore to New York City. Any ideas on a place possibly in Jersey, we can stay and take the rail in. I thought we would stay the night and make a two day trip out of NYC. I have been told Jersey City and Trenton can be pretty rough area? Any thoughts...thanks

You probably want to pose your questions about those areas on the boards for New Jersey or NYC. Trenton is not really that close to NYC.

There%26#39;s a ton to do in this area. If it%26#39;s agreeable renting a car is the best way. Also go ahead and get the GPS or bring your own. Check out The Science Center, Port discovery and the Aquarium for the 5 yr old. Cheesecake Factory has great Pizza. Have fun!!! There are van shuttles from the airport.
