Is the area around 78th street through 90th street quieter?

We are planning a trip in July and are just curious being our first time there? We like a quieter place but really not too far from most things. I plan on going to the Boardwalk but I don%26#39;t need to stay right next to it. thanks

The boardwalk ends at 28th street so typicaly it starts getting less hectic or crowed as you head north of 28th street. So I would guess 78 to 90 are your typical condos and more quiter area to stay.

Absolutely quieter. And cleaner. We always stay mid town. There are plenty of restaurants,shops, and activities there too.

in OC, you are always close to things. There are Bars, Restaurants, mini golf and various shops ';crammed'; in the 150+ streets that make up the town. The boardwalk is easy to get to by bus.

94th street is a great area to stay.

I have to agree that there is so much around that you are never very far from anything. We have stayed in the 70%26#39;s before and it is a nice area.
