Discounts for Holiday Inn Hotel and Suites???

Are there ever any???? And if so where can I find them?? We had to move or summer vacation back a few weeks this summer and this added on abt. 200.00 extra per night for our hotel room. I LOVE this hotel but paying over 500.00 a night for a hotel in OC md just seems a little much.

Discounts for Holiday Inn Hotel and Suites???

You are booking one of the most expensive hotels in OC. I guess they all are to a degree but Holiday Inn Suites is just about tops in OC. Can you look for a different hotel on the boards?

Discounts for Holiday Inn Hotel and Suites???

Trust me. I stayed there last year for four nights and it definitely is NOT worth the price. The furniture was filthy, the grout was missing in the bathroom with huge open areas between the tile and bathtub and floor, it was supposed to be non smoking and there were cigarette butts on the patio, the screens had holes and the sheets hadn%26#39;t been changed before check in. Unless it was free, I wouldn%26#39;t stay there again. The Hilton is less expensive so maybe check there. Oh, and did I mention the mold in the refrigerator?

We have stayed there for the past 3 years and have never had any problems. Our rooms have always been very clean and well kept. My kids LOVE the pool and after taking them there I can%26#39;t imagine taking them to a hotel w/ a regular pool. Plus they eat free all week so that saves a lot of $$

I checked the Hilton and would go there but the prices for the week we are going are even more than the Holiday.

$500 a night does seem rather steep - plus I imagine there is a two night minimum. Have you thought about a condo? It is probably more economical for so many reasons. Check out cbvacations.com - they have a large variety. Good Luck!

No. we are definately staying here no matter what the cost is. I have stayed many places over the years and vowed never to stay anywhere elese again after I found this hotel. We stayed in some real dumps that were siad to be ';clean'; and ';cheap'; I figure you get what you pay for these days. We will also have a newborn by then so I really don%26#39;t want to risk trying a new place this year. Plus, like I said before after taking my kids to this hotel with the amazing pool, no other hotels would compare. When thye think of our beach vacation they think of ';our hotel'; and ';our pool';. I could imagine there faces if we showed up some where else.

I just wanta discount if there is any outthere but i%26#39;m thinking that there most likley is not :(

Your not going to get a discount during peak season thus why the rates are so high.(people pay it) Condos would be an option but I personaly don%26#39;t care for them. But you said your staying there no matter what so good luck and have fun.

You may want to take some time and search around OC for a back up hotel. There are other hotels that have a great pools and pools areas.

Holiday Inn Sites and Hilton are owned by the same folks,The Harrison Group.

Do you have a AAA membership? Most hotels offer 10% discount to members. If you are staying for several nights at $500 a night, I think the membership would quickly pay for itself.

Agree....the only possible discounts would be something like AAA but you are going to pay the high rates for the summer.

My husband called last night to inquire abt. discounts again. The only discount that said they offered was AARP. No AAA. Whats up with that!!! Ugh. I guess there is no hope for a discount b/c we sure don%26#39;t qualify for AARP.
