Looking to bring in a bus from PA on a weekend getaway. Looking for some dates and suggestions on pu crawls. Any suggestions would be great!!!
Baltimore pub crawlsWhen I was in school in MD we used to do pub crawls all the time through Lindy Promotions, it looks like the next one is the St. Patty%26#39;s Day crawl in Canton.

But you can also make up your own. Federal Hill and Fells Point are both great areas to do them in addition to Canton.
Baltimore pub crawlsYou can start with my very own ';Go List'; of same topic:

For an out of towner, I%26#39;d start with Fells Point... probably the largest number of bars, historic neighborhood, cobblestone streets, etc... Keep in mind, there aren%26#39;t really any clubs, it%26#39;s more bar hopping/pub scene.
Start on Broadway-
1. Max%26#39;s - huge beer selection
2. Green Turtle - younger crowd, DJ music, beer pong tables
Looking at the water, turn left on Thames street
3. Pop in for a drink at Koopers or Slainte irish pub
4. Waterfront - cool atmosphere, exposed brick, wood floors, etc.. (this was the bar from the tv show Homicide) - live music
5. Cats eye - everyone needs to stop at cats eye once. Older crowds - live music- a lot of blues.
U-Turn on Thames, cross over Broadway and head down the other side
6. Horse you came in on - excellent dive bar, live music again
7. Ledbetters- another total dive, but worth a stop

If you want the scoop on any other neighborhoods, please feel free to message me.
My vote would be for Federal Hill. The area has a lot of character.
thanks for the info. Going to stick to Fell%26#39;s Point because hotel is Holiday Inn at Camden Yards. Do you know if there will be a crawl 7-11-09 or know where I can find out? Thanks for your help!!
There is usually one for 4th of July, but you will just miss it
';Going to stick to Fell%26#39;s Point because hotel is Holiday Inn at Camden Yards.';
I%26#39;m not sure I understand, since Fell Point is not near the Holiday Inn at Camden Yards. Federal Hill is actually closer, but either one is a reasonable taxi ride away.
The Holiday Inn is around the corner from Wharf Rat, however.
Yup Holiday inn is closer to federal hill, but the cab ride to fells won%26#39;t take long. you%26#39;ll have a great time in either...
Keep in mind that the weekend you%26#39;re there is a home game for the orioles. there is always a fun crowd outside of pickles pub before the game, If it%26#39;s not a million degrees, it%26#39;s close enough to your hotel that you should consider stopping there before your night events. big parking lot party with tons of people, beer girls, hot dog vendors, etc..
