When are you going? How long are you staying? Is there a particular street location that you would prefer? Do you care if the place is ocean front, ocean block or bayside?

I really think it depends if you and your friends are party people. Most of the condos are more family oriented and a bit more quiet.

Try the Seacrets Hotel.

Your best bet will be using one of the rental agencies: www.cbvacations.com or www.holidayoc.com. Being a group of %26#39;8-10%26#39; guys is going to limit your options with condo%26#39;s and houses since this is more of a %26#39;group%26#39; rental and many owners rent only to families. When I was looking for a 4-bedroom place, there were several ocean front townhomes available. Some of them were in the 40th-50th street area, which isn%26#39;t too far form Seacrets.

Large rentals ocean-side can be a bit difficult to come by. Good luck!

Great advice from everyone here. Your concerns with Seacrets motel are probably appropriate...would have to imagine there is lots of ';partying and puking'; going on.

Keep in mind the May 7th-10th weekend is ';Springfest'; in town...it will be busy and there will be no parking available down at the inlet lot. Not that 8 to 10 guys would care about a bunch of crafts for sale in giant tents down there!

It%26#39;s not fancy, but after many vacations in OC, the Sahara is my pick, if you do not plan to spend most of your time in the room. The view from the oceanfront boardwalk balcony can%26#39;t be beat and it%26#39;s a little more quiet at that part of the boardwalk. The downside is that the rooms are very small and the bathroom is downright tiny. It%26#39;s the best oceanfront room with at balcony that I have been able to find at that price. If anyone knows of anything better I would love to hear about it. Thanks
