Visitors, If you post, please check back

This is such a great forum and many knowledgable foks are always on hand to help answer travelers%26#39; questions. For those who are inquiring about Maryland hotels, restaurants, activities etc. it would be oh so helpful if you could be more specific in your requests, or at least check on your original post to see if people have questions. Ocassionally, the inquiries are too generic so one may not get as many responses as he/she would like or expect, and as a result it may be overshadowed by the more active posts.

Think about it this way, if a long lost relative was coming for a first time visit and you were hosting them at your home, wouldn%26#39;t it be helpful to know, taste/food preferences, activity level, interests (hiking vs. museums), etc? And if they wanted to stay in a hotel, (how kind of them!) wouldn%26#39;t it be important to know what kind of services/location they prefer and how much they are willing to pay for their lodging?

Anyway, just a little reminder. Also, after your visit, don%26#39;t forget to post your trip update. It%26#39;s always good to hear about visitors%26#39; experiences, and also helps the members who provide suggestions know if what they recommended was worthwhile. Happy travels.

I%26#39;d like to encourage visitors to write and post reviews of hotels and restaurants. When I am visiting a new city, that is the section of TripAdvisor I utilize. I%26#39;m trying to write reviews after I return from a trip, forward them to my friends and to TA. My next goal is to write reviews after visiting my favorite Baltimore restaurants.

Excellent point. I like to do the same. I also frequent many restaurants in the area, and like to post those as well.
