The Burgundy Inn on 13th

Does anyone know anything about the condition of the rooms at the Burgundy Inn on 13th St? Thinking of staying there, website looks nice but not sure about it. My husband and friends are planning a long weekend in August for a wedding, the reception is at Phillips on 13th so we would like to stay in that area. Any suggestions?

Not the Hilton but not a roach motel either. Has a pool, very small but if your at the beach you don%26#39;t need the pool. It is basically a cheaper place to stay and if you don%26#39;t plan being there much except to chrash then its okay. I stayed there with friends during a guys guys get-away place at the beach and it was fine for us.

We stayed there a few years ago for a quick 4 day WE, because there was no other place available for 4 days over Labor day. It does sit next to gas station so the front view is not great. The little poole area is fairly nice. It is one of the older facilities in OC though they did do a little updating. We had a 1BR apt. The furniture was a little worn and when you walked across the living room there seemed to be a hole in the floor that they covered with the carpeting. The BR was a little rough also. The TV was a 13 inch. I don%26#39;t think it was not the cleanest place, but we never saw any bugs. We have laughed about that place ever since. We went to spend time on the beach, and we knew it was not a luxury hotel, so it served our purposes and the price was right. I guess it will depend on what you can tolerate. Also- it is centrally located so you can easily walk to boardwalk .

Did you stay there? I booked the 3 bedroom because it has all the amenities we want and the location. I see bad reviews for the smaller rooms but we got the 3 bedroom. Do you know anything? How do I get the people that answered you?

Don%26#39;t expect the Hilton and you%26#39;ll be fine.

Could you elaborate?

I have never posted anything on here before. I was trying to figure out how to get a hold of people that have. How do I do that? How did you answer me? What room did you stay in? I stayed at the apts. at the majestic and the commander and they were just ok but we were happpy with them. The majestic only had 2 air conditionrs so our room was hot. The commander was cute but only 2 bedrooms.

Is this how I got yu? I don%26#39;t understand how to get back to all of the reviews I was reading. Can you Help? If I can even find you again.

saidiePA,

You do realize all these ';Burgundy Inn'; posts you are dredging up are nearly 3 years old? You will probably have a difficult time contacting the original contributors to these threads.

You seem to need answers about the Burgandy Inn. It is not a Hilton or Holiday Inn. Its located about 2 blocks off the boardwalk, so crossing traffic to get to the boards and beach is a must. The location is not bad, close to Anthony%26#39;s and English for lunch and breakfeast. Its been some years since last stayed there but the rooms back then are basic.(It does say newly remodeled) Decent size, with a small pool. I would recommend to young single people who are out and about most of the day. I would not recommend to familys or older people. (to close to traffic and too far from beach) Any other questions please ask.
