I%26#39;ve used Holiday(now called ERA Holiday) for about the past 12 years and have had very little problems with tenants. Before Holiday we were with Paradise (not sure if still around or maybe name changed) and some other agent who%26#39;s name escapes me). I might add that we rent seasonally since we%26#39;ve had better luck with only one tenant for the summer as opposed to 16 or so weeklys, and the fact that we%26#39;re in South OC. I think you always run risks renting and I%26#39;d recommend paying attention to the contract, though I%26#39;m sure you will. If you have preferred %26#39;service%26#39; companies (A/C, Plumbing, Electric, Handy-man) be sure to go with an agent that allows you to select your own repairman or company if that%26#39;s your desire. When we rented weekly about 15 years ago we had horrible repairs made. The worst one was how a 6'; hole in the wall was patched - with sticky shelf paper and painted over, but that agent is no longer around! I think Holiday is about as good and fair as they come.
