When I was a little girl we went to a famous restaurant in Baltimore called Hausner%26#39;s. I suppose it%26#39;s gone now? I just remember the artwork. Can%26#39;t find it on the internet.

What a great bar and restaurant but it must be long gone, for the last time I was there was 1965. What a shame, it was a great old restaurant and now all those painting are just memories, glories of the past.

I, too went to Haussner%26#39;s as a child. Loved their rye rolls and great art work.

I went there as a young boy. At the time, I didn%26#39;t realize how lucky I was and how delicious the seafood was. I grew up in Baltimore. I still remember all the artwork and the ladies bringing your meal up to your table on a cart. The rolls and deserts were delicious. I%26#39;m so sorry that it%26#39;s gone. We went back when I was an adult and got a menu before they closed. I still have it. What a selection of food. They just don%26#39;t have restaurants like that any more . . . do they??

Yes, I have a Haussner%26#39;s menu in my collection too - what a selection of dishes they had. I remember when they closed it and auctioned off all the beautiful romantic-style paintings and art that covered every room in the place. I seem to remember hearing the site is now used as a cooking school ?
