Has anyone ever stayed at El Capitan on 4th street and if so what is it like? I really appreciate your input. We have 7 adults and want to be in the range of 1st and 8th street and it looks like we are pretty limited with that many people. Any other suggestions would be great. Thank you
El Capitan
Hello Mrsfasteddie:
We have stayed at the El Capitan for the past three summer vacations. A tight squeeze for 7 adults. We stay with 5 adults and one child and it is tight.
The location is excellent, close to walking and the bus routes for all locations. The pool is a nice and clean pool on the other side of the building from the boardwalk. The other problem is that there is only one parking space per unit. Finding parking for the other cars in your party may be a problem. If you park in a paid space until night-time, you can usually find a street parking (free) spot to keep your car in for the remainder of your stay. The downstairs bedroom is small (big enough to fit queen size bed - 2 adults) with walk around space). It has a private bathroom. The upstairs bedroom is bigger, two twin or one queen size bed, with space for a sleeping bag or two. The downstairs living room could sleep the other 3, two on the couch, one on the floor. Hope you find a location that suits your needs.
