Weekend Parking and Rates near Camden Yards

Hi,

I%26#39;ll be staying at the Hampton Inn Camden Yards next month for a Ravens game. Are there parking garages near by that would be cheaper than the hotel%26#39;s $26 valet fee?

I can think of any. There are other garages around, but I don%26#39;t think they offer 24-hour parking, except those at the other hotels (Marriott, Hilton) which presumably are going to charge the same rate (or more) as the Hampton.

I hear all the parking garages actually charge more for for Redskin fans....!!

There are a few 24-hour garages operated by the City. The ones at the Arena, 99 S. Howard St. and at 11 S. Eutaw are the closest--0.3 mile walk to the Hampton.

Don%26#39;t know the rates, sorry, but they%26#39;ll certainly be less than $26 (my guess is around $14). Full brochure at http://tinyurl.com/5caxz6

If you decide to use either of those garages, arrive early - they fill up early with football crowds on game days!

Usually there are some hotels who allow self-parking. I%26#39;d warn you NOT to leave any personal items visible or even IN your car.
