Senior Week

Im going down to ocmd for senior week. My friends and I changed our place to Wilmington Terrace recently...could anyone please, please provide any feedback about the place. I saw on the other post someone mentioned that it was terrible...but other than that stuff being broke, was it a good place to stay and were you allowed to have guests without twlling management??? The rental agency seems to have a strict rule about having guests but could anyone who rented through them tell what it was like with any of the rental places? I know nothing about this place so ANYTHING will be beneficial...also what is located on or close to 12th street where this pace is located?? THANKS!!

Senior Week

12th St. is right in the middle of all the boardwalk atrractions. You will be able to walk to most things you would be interested in. Amusement park, arcades, boardwalk stores and many many places to eat. If the rules say no no guests it is prob enforced. I know that the place my son stayed 2 years ago for Sr. week was very strict. The police, etc are very much a presence during those weeks in June. So be prepared. Many unhappy seniors were sent home early for drinking and having '; an open door policy in their apts';. Sorry don%26#39;t recognize the place you are staying. Did you try to google it, or check the Chamber of Commerce site for OC MD.

A broken smoke detector being part of ';that stuff'; (and taking three days to replace) would be more of a concern than whether the management is going to hassle you about guests.

My kids went down to OC for senior week and they both came back with stories about kids getting tossed from their places for noise and drinking by the management. The police are very much around and they typically do not give warnings or second chances ( at least during June).

Be careful and you should be able to have a great time. OC does try to have additional events to make sure everyone has fun.

The no guest policy at my hotel when I was here for senior week was strongly enforced, they had staff outside watching everyone go in and out. Have fun and enjoy yourself, but dont draw too much attention from the wrong people and you should be great! 12th street is a fantastic location, plenty of places to eat nearby and you have the boardwalk right there. You will be able to walk or take the bus everywhere.
