House Rentals For Family of 8

I have been going crazy trying to find a place for my family. I am hoping someone can help, I started off wanting to be right on the boardwalk, near all, amusement park, clubs etc, but I am so confused. If we get a house rental, is there transportation if it is too far to walk? We definetely want to be very close to the beach and want to have some other means of transportation to the boardwalk, etc. Don%26#39;t want to have to drive in case we do have a few cocktails. Any imput would help. we are trying to stay to $1800 at the most for the week. thank you

No where in OC is very far. The bus system will take you from the Maryland / Del line to the inlet for $2.00 / day - its the best value in town.

We have been in OC for St Pat weekend thae last couple years where the buses do not run as frequently as in the summer and the cabs are inexpensive so if you had to resort to that it would not break the bank.

But be aware that if you rent a house in Ocean Pines you are about 8 miles from Ocean City and cab fare there is very high.

Good point natthecat, I was thinking more of along coastal highway.

Look for condos/hotels that would cater to your needs. ( family of 8 )

You might not end on the boardwalk but could find a spot on the beach and the 24 bus service can get you to the amusements, bars/tavern, shops and resturants.

The majestic 1/2 block from the boardwalk has 3 bedrooms plus pool out couch. Not fancy, but cute and roomy. Has a pool and my family really liked it. My husband didn%26#39;t because it had 2 window air conditioners. So our bedroom was hot. We are trying the burgundy inn which is 1 1/2 blocks from the boardwalk and the 3 bedroom sleeps 10 to 15. Haven%26#39;t been there yet, so I hope it%26#39;s decent. Location is good if you want close to the boaardwalk. Only 1500 a week with pool and they supply the sheets and tiles. Which is very hard to find with a condo or apt. in oc.
