What are some good restaurants in OC that serve good breakfast, and is cheap? For the past years we have eaten breakfast in our hotel, (bought donuts, cookies, cereal) and this year we want to try something new and eat out. Any suggestions on good restaurants?
Where to get good breakfast
Not in OC, but close enough for a shout-out if you%26#39;re towards the north end of town: Jimmy%26#39;s Kitchen in Fenwick Island. It%26#39;s the real deal, and very reasonable.
Where to get good breakfastA lot of people rave about the Bayside Skillet on 73th St. You might want to try that. I%26#39;ve never been impressed though and think it%26#39;s kind of expensive for what you get.
Ok, here%26#39;s my one secret breakfast spot in OC. It%26#39;s called the Pirates Den %26amp; Galley restaurant located in the Ocean Voyager motel on 32nd St. The place doesn%26#39;t look like much on the outside and it looks like even less on the inside, but I%26#39;ve gotten some of the best breakfast meals from this place in the last two summer seasons. Big heaping portions for a decent price. Beats the Dough Roller in quality and price by a mile. Try it, I think you%26#39;ll like it.
We have been going to OC for ten years and have always enjoyed The Sahara Motel%26#39;s Cafe for breakfast. It%26#39;s on 19th Street, across the road from their oceanfront building. Good sized portions that won%26#39;t cost you an arm and a leg. :)
I loveeeeee Bayside skillet. They are not cheap but you get huge portions and the food is great and they serve fresh squeezed lemonade. I also like The Satallite in the HoJo on twenty something street and a new location on Coastal highway next to 45th village. I%26#39;ll have to try the other suggestions though!
Rio Grande Pool Bar 145st Oceanside
dough roller for shure =-)
My husband and I and our grandson ate at the Little house of pancakes and Ribs at 74th %26amp; coastal Hwy last year it was the best breakfast we had while we were in OC lots of choices and the food was delicious. We will go back there again this year .

Laytons on 16th street is good and Anthonys on 17th has awesome breaksfast sandwhiches that you could eat there or bring back to your room. You do not have a server at Anthonys so you can save a bit on tip. Also try lunch at Anthonys, they have the best cheesesteaks, roast beef sandwhiches and ... well it is all great!! A must try!!!
We love the Satellite on Coastal Highway--they have the best stuffed french toast (almonds and bananas), pancakes, and breakfasts good for guys wiith big appetites such as the Tidal Wave. Also, try the breakfast buffet at Phillip%26#39;s on the Sea and then sit out in the rocking chairs on the porch overlooking the boardwalk. Another great place is the Victorian Room at the Dunes Hotel--delicious blueberry pancakes and big breakfast sausage (a regional thing). Plus they also have a gorgeous view of the ocean and the dunes with rocking chairs. Don%26#39;t forget the Crabcake Factory in North Ocean City. A little crab cakes benedict, anyone? I love Bagels and Buns but it is a bit pricey (it%26#39;s next to the post office).
Bagels N Buns is a must
