Hotel Reccomendations / Baltimore Convention Center

Need Help... I can book rooms at The Baltimore Hilton, Hyatt Regency or Sheraton Inner Harbor at very, very fair %26amp; favorable rates thru the Trade Show group sponsoring a trade show there. All the reviews seem about equal.(right now I am leaning towards the Hilton) Any Reccomendations and comments would be appreciated.

I recently stayed at the Hilton and it%26#39;s a very nice property, connected to the convention center by an indoor skywalk. The place is still ';almost'; brand new, just opened in September %26#39;08.

You can%26#39;t beat it for convenience. If the prices are the same I%26#39;d go for it.

Thanks Irishfan, I think I will go with the Hilton, since it is connected via skywalk to the convention center..Any good ';Local joints'; for food within walking distance?

Hilton or the Hyatt.

What kind of food are you looking for? You may want to take a 5 minute cab ride to Federal Hill instead of eating by the harbor (chains and overpriced). Cross street market is a good local experience for lunch. There are lots of restaurants on either side of the market and on adjacent Charles and Light Streets.

Canton also has some great places to eat and is a short cab ride away.

Hilton seems like a no-brainer. It%26#39;s new and connected to the Convention Center. Also a good location to explore the downtown area.
